At INTRANSOL™, we carefully screen and evaluate all of our language associates to ensure that each linguist’s work is up to our extremely high quality standards. Our evaluations are designed to serve the overall interests of our clients with specialized needs for translation and interpretation.

In order to be included in the INTRANSOL™ roster of preferred linguists, all candidates must:
- Be native speakers of the target language to which they translate
- Have at least five (5) years of professional translation experience to be considered as one of our lead translators, or two (2) years to be one of our secondary translators or proofreaders
- Provide proof of educational background and work history
- Provide three professional translation references from clients familiar with their work
- Show that they return and spend at least one month every two years in their native country

Testing & evaluation
Once these minimal requirements are met, candidates are evaluated with a series of written and/or oral assessments to measure their qualifications, proficiency in specific languages and subject areas, level of accuracy, degree of professionalism, ability to follow specific instructions and ability to complete an evaluation within specific timeframes. Once linguists pass the INTRANSOL™ evaluation process, they are required to maintain their status by remaining an active linguist with INTRANSOL™ and by updating us regarding changes in their education or other critical information about their work.
